Do NOT use the washing machine for this blanket. If you spill something on your blanket begin cleaning it at once. To correctly remove stains, fill a bowl with cold to room temperature water and soak the stained area NOT the entire blanket. You can add a gentle liquid wool soap if needed (e.g. a red wine stain). Do not move or stir the immersed portion of the blanket. After ten minutes of soaking gently squeeze the liquid from the stained portion of the blanket. Remember to be GENTLE and repeat this process for multiple cycles for tougher stains. Allow the blanket to air dry.

Dust and pet hair will naturally stick to your blanket. There is nothing better than giving it a nice shake instead of spending hours to remove hair and dust by hand. A light shake is even beneficial in resetting the blanket after slight deformation.

Wool fibres do not absorb smell so there is no need to worry about odors emanating from the blanket. Do NOT use any chemicals like bleach, vinegar, alcohol, or other fragrances on the blanket.
